New sessions added: Google Analytics 4 Sunrise Sessions

We’re excited today to launch our new round of GA4 Sunrise Sessions. 

Each session covers one key topic to provide you with concise and actionable information, delivered within a 30-minute webinar. After each session, there will be time for Q&A and requesting topics for future sessions.

With Chrome’s increasing restrictions on third-party cookies, with a total phasing out planned for Q3 2024, it’s crucial to develop a strategy to manage the depreciation of third-party cookies for your website. 

One tool recently released to support you through these changes is Chrome’s Privacy Sandbox Analysis Tool (PSAT), which facilitates the analysis of cookie usage during browsing sessions on your site.

GA4 Audience Export API

Building on Angela’s previous Sunrise Session on GA4 audiences and audience trigger events, in this session we’ll be looking at options for exporting audience data for use outside of the GA4 interface.  Using the Google Analytics Data API v1, you can generate an export of users, giving you a snapshot of the members of that audience group at the current point in time.

This session will cover:

• Audience export fundamentals and use cases
• Data freshness and data expiry
• Limitations and things to look out for

Rollup Properties and Subproperties

GA4 properties on the 360 tier can make use of Rollup properties and Subproperties. Rollup properties allow you to roll data from multiple property sources into a single aggregated property for a combined view of all your data, while Subproperties allow us to create a property that contains a subset of data from the source property.

This session will cover:

• Use cases for Rollup properties and Subproperties
• Creation of Rollup and Subproperties
• Restrictions and dependencies
• Troubleshooting data discrepancies between properties, Rollup properties, and Subproperties
