Javascript is a powerful digital marketing tool, but when you're first learning how to use it, it can be hard to know where to start and what you actually need to know. This two-day course will give you the confidence and skills to write your own custom scripts and boost your campaigns.
We'll start with an introduction to JavaScript, covering the building blocks you'll need to write your own scripts through a series of practical coding tasks. These include variables, loops, boolean logic, functions and advanced selectors. You'll then use these coding concepts to start writing marketing tags, running them within Google Tag manager to achieve custom functionality - something that you wouldn't be able to implement without JavaScript.
Alongside the hands-on tasks, we'll also cover responsible practices, discussing the concept of risk and the potential pitfalls or dangers of writing custom scripts - and what can be done to avoid or mitigate these.
This JavaScript for Marketers course is available as a private training session that can be delivered via Virtual Classroom, or at a location of your choice in the US.
